Board
of Administrative Appeals
The City Commission appoints this five-member board. Initial terms are set to
coincide with the normal re-appointment date of that member. Subsequent
re-appointments are for two years.
The Board of Administrative Appeals has the authority to hear and decide
appeals from any decision, determination or interpretation by any
administrative official of the City with respect to the provisions of the
Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations Code.
The board is responsible for the approval or denial of variances, hardship
relief, vested rights or other waivers from the provisions of the City's Land
Use Regulations.
The Board of Administrative Appeals meets on the third Monday of each month at
