City Housing Authority
The Panama City Housing Authority ("PHA") was organized pursuant to Chapter
421 of the Florida Statutes on May 23, 1950 for the purpose of providing
low-income housing for the residents of the City of Panama City.
The City Commission appoints a board of commissioners who in turn hire an
Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for all activities
within the scope of the PHA and is accountable to the PHA Board of
Commissioners for those activities. Members of the five-member board serve
four-year terms. The board meets at its office located 804 E. 15th Street, on
the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. For information concerning the
