Panama City Housing Authority

The Panama City Housing Authority ("PHA") was organized pursuant to Chapter 421 of the Florida Statutes on May 23, 1950 for the purpose of providing low-income housing for the residents of the City of Panama City.

The City Commission appoints a board of commissioners who in turn hire an Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for all activities within the scope of the PHA and is accountable to the PHA Board of Commissioners for those activities. Members of the five-member board serve four-year terms. The board meets at its office located 804 E. 15th Street, on the first Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. For information concerning the Panama City Housing Authority, please call the Housing Authority at .
