Affordable Housing Advisory Committee
Ordinance No. 1563 created and established the nine-member Affordable Housing
Advisory Committee. By Resolution dated 4/13/93, the City Commission of the
City of Panama City designated members to serve in accordance with all laws,
rules and regulations governing the administration of housing programs under
the jurisdiction of the City of Panama City Department of Community Planning
and Development.
The SHIP Affordable Housing Advisory Committee members make recommendations
and specific initiatives to encourage or facilitate affordable housing in the
community. Members serve for a period of one year and meet not less frequently
than twice a year.
